Your teenager is interested in autonomy and will demonstrate that in as many ways as possible from the clothes they wear to the food choices they make. Your most important duty at this age is to be a good role model. Whether you notice it or not, your teen is learning how to be an adult from you. Don't let issues you disagree on (there may be plenty) keep you from showing your love for your teenager.
